Filezilla FTP Setup

This is a tutorial to assist you in connecting to your Webhero site via FTP with FileZilla.

If you don't already have FileZilla installed you can download it here:

1. Open File; Site Manager; Click on the New Site button

2. Create a name for your new entry:

3. Your Host will be 'ftp.webhero.com'. (If you are using a Windows hosting plan, however, please use 'www.yourdomain.com' as the FTP hostname.)

4. Server type should always say FTP

5. Logon type set to Normal

6. If your hosting account was created with Webhero after March, 2005, your User will be your domain (without 'www.') (Example: mydomain.com)

7. Password will be your account password

8. Click the Transfer Settings tab and check Passive, then click OK

9. Click the Save button

10. Finally, highlight the newly created entry and click Connect to test your connection

It is important to upload all HTML files, content, and images to your 'public_html/' directory
